            SparkCon is a showcase of creativity, talent and ideas of the creative hub of the south,             the Triangle. Collaboration with fashion designer Jessica Palmer for JessPati – a mini                 collection of 5 cocktail dresses that celebrate the beauty of developing structures and               the value of the surface.

2009    Stitch Spectacular, a juried collection of contemporary hand embroidered artwork -                   Finalist. Dimensions Gallery, Savannah, Georgia. January 9, - February 3, 2009.

2005    Finalist at the annual exhibition “Celebrating Women” sponsored by the Norton                       Women’s Pavilion, Frasier Museum in Louisville, Kentucky. 

2000    ITMA Design Award Competition for Home Furnishings. 

            3rd place in the Print Category.

1999    Recipient of the O.A.S. (Organization of American States) full scholarship for                           completion of the Master of Science from Philadelphia University. 

 

Special Projects

 

2019     Commissioned by Arts for All to create a group of textile panels in collaboration with                artist, Christy Grace, for a theater company.

2019     Commissioned by make-up artist, Valeria Ferreira to create a textile piece for Victoria                Beckham.

2020     Commissioned by make-up artist, Valeria Ferreira to create a textile piece for actress                Rosamund Pike.
